Small plants

Included here: the yellow coreopsis...these flower up in spades in a small bush. There are variations maybe hybrids. The cyclamen can come in pink, red or white. There's even a Victoria coloration pretty nice. The flax add some shaping to a planter, above the ground cover. EG one could put petunias around the flax. Sundowner flax the best because it tends to appear transparent to the angle of the sun. It brightens a bit.

Some of these pretty impressive. Often built on a hill, they were made military ready. Most of these in Germany.

Landscape Planters

Some examples here. Note the wall work and the stone work in the patio. The pool was planned with planters around it. A mulch bed was added and probably sprinklers. The pool interestingly has a pumped waterfall near it. Continuous recycled water. Lastly a good trick is to dig the planter, till the soil, amend the soil, add a boundary board with stakes and put pea gravel on the top. The pea gravel A: retains water and B: discourages weed growth.

The gardens at Shoenbrunn Palance Vienna. Excellent Fountain work. The hedges planted as boundaries for flowers a nice idea. Great planning for coloration and design.

Gratitude on Year 12

Just completed year 12 year and into year 13...thankful to all in recovery small to big that I've come across since 1995. Continuing the journey and we "work the Program until the Program works us." Grateful, above all, to a magnificent and loving Higher Power who presides over all. Here's the famous man on the bed pic.
