Some late spring pics. The chaparral is coming back amazing fast after the fires in 2007. On a clear day great views of most of the Los Angeles Basin, beaches and islands.

When I was younger I enjoyed hiking in Griffith Park. I would go to a Saturday meeting and afterward drive to the park and hike almost all the way to the Hollywood sign from the Riverside Drive entrance to the park.
When I was still drinking, I would look from my apartment on Fountain and see the park, but I couldn't go there because I had diareah all the time. I was so happy to be able go for those hikes. Once in a long while I went with someone but usually I want alone.
