This mountain peak can be accessed just past Mt. Williamson off Angeles Crest Highway. A very charming elfin conifer forest awaits. You start at 6700 feet and climb to the 8250 summit. It offers great views of the San Gabriel River region. A campsite, Little Jimmy, is about mid point in the circa 3 mile trek.
